PexNet was founded in 2016 by Jacob Warren, a seasoned digital strategist who had previously worked for a leading marketing agency in the UK. During his time there, he saw most digital and SEO firms were mainly serving large enterprises that could afford their high-priced services. As a result, many small businesses (e.g. local attorneys or plumbers) were unable to access the kind of reliable SEO support they needed to compete.
That’s when a simple idea came into Jacob’s mind: what if he could build an agency that would provide the same level of SEO support that big companies paid fortunes for? So, he stepped out on his own and launched PexNet from a small workspace in Manchester.
It didn’t take long for Jacob to secure clients from the USA, the UK, Canada, Australia, and Europe. Soon, he realized he needed a team that could scale without losing the personal, niche-focused approach that made PexNet different. He reached out to his long-time friend
